With the trailer tyre TH 40, which is now available in sizes 385/55 R 22.5 and 385/65 R 22.5, Uniroyal expands its tyre portfolio, now offering new high-quality tyres for every axle.
Hanover, 15 November 2016. Uniroyal is significantly expanding its range of new tyres for trucks and buses, unveiling not only additional sizes for the steer and drive axle but also the new trailer tyres available in two different sizes. The FH 40 and DH 40 steer and drive axle tyres are now also available in size 315/70 R 22.5. Together with the TH 40 trailer tyre in sizes 385/55 R 22.5 and 385/65 R 22.5, Uniroyal is offering a complete portfolio of current tyres for every axle. These high-quality tyres for combined regional and long-haul transport offer impressive mileage, improved handling and optimal traction even on wet roads.
Following a successful launch with the FH 40 steering axle tyre and DH 40 drive axle tyre in size 315/80 R 22.5, Uniroyal is expanding its range for these two axles. The high-traction tyres are now also available in size 315/70 R 22.5.
In combined regional distribution and long-haul transport, the FH 40 and DH 40 offer outstanding mileage and safe handling. Thanks to a newly developed profile design, the tyres also offer outstanding safety on wet roads, a characteristic that is in keeping with the tradition of the Uniroyal brand. For their excellent wet-grip performance, the FH 40 steering axle tyre has been assigned EU label “B” and also bears the letters “M+S”. The DH 40 drive axle tyre bears not only the letters “M+S” but also the snowflake symbol (three-peak mountain snowflake, or “3PMSF”) thanks to the special sipes on the DH 40 drive axle tyre, which ensure safer driving on snow-covered roads.
And for the trailer axle, Uniroyal offers the perfect tyre with the TH 40, which is now available in sizes 385/55 R 22.5 and 385/65 R 22.5. The optimised rubber compound makes this trailer tyre exceptionally resistant to cutting damage. The high wear volume ensures outstanding mileage and a long service life of the tyre.
The basis for all tyres in the new Uniroyal product line is a retreadable carcass. The bead of the carcass on the FH 40, DH 40 and TH 40 was reinforced for increased durability. The optimized cord density means that the tyres can withstand changing loads and the special inner liner prevents gradual loss of pressure.
